When the general morality of society has decayed,blinded by uncontrolled passion,the young men and women start mingling without restraint.And lust knows no logic of better evolution or better culture.Thereafter unhealthy intermingling of incopatible cultural traits.In the largest scope of its implication,when we thus understand the cast-system,it is the ssme as today's professional groups,Therefore,when we talk  so seriouly about the inadvisability of "admixture of the castes"we only mean ,what we already know to be true in our own social pattern.After death the subtle body, constituted of the mind and intellect, departs from its associations with its physical body,now dead.The direct descendants are expected in Hinduism to perform ritualistic worship of the dead for the peace and happiness of the departed.This is the idea of the Sraddha*ceremony.
